The infant/child SMART pads cartridge is designed for use in conjunction with the Philips HeartStart HS1 defibrillator. These electrode pads reduce the energy level from 150 Joules to 50 Joules, making them extremely safe for use on children.

The Infant/Child Pads cartridge is marked with an indication of patient weight and with a teddy bear icon for easy identification.
