A&D’s TM-2440 is an entry-level model designed for ABPM measurement. Its compact body simplifies the monitoring of research participants and comes standard with an Irregular Heartbeat (IHB) function, which detects pulse irregularities and can check waveforms easily via analysis software (included). The new features in the TM-2440 support ABPM measurement.

Soft cloth cuff:
Unlike some of the rough plastic cuffs available on some older devices the TM-2440 benefits from a soft, machine washable cloth, to ensure maximum comfort whilst the patient wears the device over long periods of time. The cuff range offers Upper Arm fitting from 15cm through to 50cm – ensuring peace of mind and a comfortable, accurate fit. The TM-2440 is truly ‘ designed with the patient in mind.

AFib+:
Having pioneered IHB (Irregular Heart Beat)/Circadian Rhythm analysis technology in 2001, A&D have further developed this technology on the new Ambulatory Monitor range. The new monitors feature A&D’s new, unique Afib+ technology which allows patient screening for both Irregular HeartBeat and Atrial Fibrillation (AFib).
