This Portable, Desktop and PC-Based Spirometer features a clear 7-inch Touchscreen and is perfectly suited to GP Practices, Surgeries, Hospitals and Asthma Clinics, with its fast and silent built–in thermal printer with customizable printout format. Direct external print is also available via PC software.

Real-time testing is also available on PC via USB and Bluetooth, working with Winspiro PRO and Spiro Connect and also has EHR Connectivity to integrate with your patient database on your EHR/EMR (in HL7, GDT). The Spirolab is Lightweight for easy mobility and includes a free carrying case and long life Rechargeable Battery. It has Calibration Software embedded on the device with printable calibration report.

A large selection of Predicted Sets (including GLI) and Predicted Values (including comparison %Pred, Z-score and LLN) are available in Stand-Alone mode and PC mode. Real-time animation provides younger patients and those with additional needs with a “Paediatric Incentive” to improve compliance during the test.

For those who cannot switch to Remote Patient Monitoring and Homecare but still need a physical presence of the patient in the healthcare facilities, the ERS and many other Respiratory Associations worldwide do recommend additional safety precautions during testing.

MIR devices are compatible with the use of disposable in-line filters combined with disposable turbine flow meters, as recommended by the ERS statement on lung function during COVID-19. Use of a complete disposable kit (bacterial/viral filter + turbine + mouthpiece) ensures device protection, avoids cross-contamination and protects patient and healthcare personnel from aerosolized droplets in the environment. The usage of a completely disposable kit does not affect the spirometry test results.

The filter can be plugged in directly to the turbine sensor flowmeter. For a more comfortable test, it is possible to plug a cardboard mouthpiece to the antiviral filter.
