Empad Absorbent Dressing Pad (Backed)

Empad Absorbent Dressing Pads are non-sterile dressing pads used for wound management, as either a primary or secondary dressing. These dressing pads are soft, multi-layered, absorbent, non-woven pads with sealed edges to prevent linting and leakage. Additionally, the backing layer of the pad is water-resistant and helps to prevent strike-through and bacterial contamination.

Indications for Use:

Low to moderate levels of exudate
Leg, diabetic foot and pressure ulcers
Surgical wounds
Skin tears
Fungating Wounds

Application:

Select a dressing which allows a 2cm overlap of all wound edges.
Place the dressing white side down onto the wound.
Secure in place using an appropriate retention product.
