Empore Adhesive Island Dressing - 5cm x 7cm x 50

Empore Island Dressings are non-woven, latex-free, adhesive fabric dressings designed to provide a protective barrier against further trauma and contamination. These dressings contain an absorbent pad for absorbing blood and exudate.

Features:

Water repellent backing, to allow for showering.
Highly absorbent wound pad.
Hypoallergenic adhesive.
Breathable backing to allow moisture vapour transfer rate (MVTR) and no sweat build up.
Conformable to all body parts.
Rounded corners prevent lifting, increasing wear time.

Indications for Use:

Surical Incisions
Lacerations
Puncture Wounds
Abrasions
Any other acute wound

Application:

Peel the backing paper to reveal absorbent pad.
Place the pad over the wound ensuring an overlap onto the wound skin.
Peel off one side of the back paper completely, smoothing down the edges as you go.
Peel off the second backing paper fully, smoothing again as you go.
Ensure all edges are smoothed down with no gaps to ensure secure fixation.
