Cutimed Sorbact is used as a non-medicated, antimicrobial covering for infected wounds. Instead of using chemically active agents, Cutimed Sorbact binds and inactivate pathogenic bacteria and fungi. With every dressing change, the reduced bacterial load helps to create the optimal environment for wounds to heal in.
