The Standalone Training AED is ideal whether you are a First Aid Trainer looking for a Training Unit to teach defibrillator use to students or if you have a defibrillator on-site and wish to have a dedicated training unit to keep your staffs’ skills up-to-date.
The Training AED can be used to instruct students in the various operating modes of the Lifeline Series AEDs, and in the use of an AED as part of a standard rescue protocol. The trainer unit is similar to a functional AED in form and operation, but all rubberized exterior surfaces are red, instead of black, to clearly distinguish the unit as a training device that cannot be used to defibrillate a real patient.
The training AED allows you to practice a rescue procedure as many times as needed for you and your staff to feel comfortable. The package includes training pads to be used on any CPR manikin and remote control to allow you to pause or advance through the rescue stages as needed.
